| All students, staff and visitors appear to be happy, positive and welcome. The environment is very calm and safe. Welcoming and including others is the “norm” for everyone. Admin is positive and present daily in classrooms as noted by staff and students. Staff feels supported and listened to, that they can try new things without fear of failure. Students consistently said that every student has trusted adults within the school and that they feel that they are cared about. | Shifting focus to students owning their learning with student choice in their education/goals/pathway as well as defining “owning” their education would push score to evidence of impact. Also finding additional ways of displaying students’ work and achievements and exemplars of the behavior matrix/PBIS for students to take ownership of the climate and culture. |
